WS Residential announces 40% growth in Leeds property management portfolio

By WS Residential:    3 July 2026

WS Residential has achieved a 40 per cent year-on-year growth in the portfolio of properties it has under management in Leeds.

We have seen a significant increase in instructions over the last 12 months from investors looking to grow their property portfolios in and around the city.

WS Residential is working closely with its clients to source new investment opportunities, maximise and grow rental yields, and provide property management services for multi-asset portfolios across West Yorkshire and beyond.

We have more than a thousand residential properties under contract across Yorkshire, with a significant proportion increasingly centred in the Leeds region.

This ranges from individual properties for private landlords through to large multi-occupancy developments owned by large pension funds and private family investment trusts.

Our most recent appointment is for the management of a freehold block of 10 units in Oulton, south east Leeds, through an existing client, which is continuing to grow its asset portfolio in the wider Leeds area.

WS Residential’s growth across the city has been further supported through the business’s parent group property consultancy, Walker Singleton, and its growing Leeds city centre office.

As well as Leeds, WS Residential has properties under management across Yorkshire in areas such as Harrogate, Grassington, Wakefield, as well as across Calderdale and Kirklees.

WS Residential now has a team of 16 lettings and property management experts to support its ongoing growth and investor services across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region.

Commenting on the growth, WS Residential director, Adam Powell, said: “There is significant investment in Leeds by national investors looking for an established location which benefits from economic growth, regional relocation and sustained rental demand.

“The city, and the wider West Yorkshire region, are no longer an emerging market, and we are speaking with an increasing number of investors looking to grow their portfolios across the area.

“With this, we are seeing investors wanting agents who have not only the knowledge of local market opportunities to maximise yields, but who can also advise on compliance and regulatory requirements, acquisition, disposal, and everything in between.

“Our rapid growth in properties under management in Leeds highlights the trust investors have in WS Residential to oversee their portfolio to deliver strong rental performance.
